I think this is a thing what we don't really realize ever. I just recognized it not so long ago, but it's so true, that I don't know how I didn't find out about it earlier.
It's true, that I don't like all my nicknames, some of them I even hate (especially those with a "c" in them). Some of them have a special meaning. Some of them are just used by a few friends of mine, some of them are used just by one person. But if someone uses my real name, it means to me that that sentence is only for me, and no one else. And people get so few of these kind of sentences.
